ClearScan offers a premium upgrade through Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled directly by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or financial data.
ClearScan does not use any analytics or tracking services. We do not track how you use the app, what you scan, or any usage patterns.

Since ClearScan processes all data locally on your device and does not transmit data to external servers, your documents are protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a screen lock to protect your scanned documents.
ClearScan is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any user, there is no risk of children's data being collected.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete individual documents within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all associated data from your device. We do not retain any data remotely.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
